3 Using CMWIN
Note:
For all options, selections can only be made using the mouse.
3.1 Sensor information
Sensor information gives more precise information on the connected sensor.
• Click on the "SMART sensor" dialogue box.
• "SMART sensor" opens in a new window.
• Establish a link with the SMART sensor (see 2.6 Establishing a link with the
SMART sensor).
• Click on "Sensor information" on the left of the window.
• On the right side of the window, information appears on the SMART sensor
connected.
3.2 Viewing actual measured values of the SMART sensors in CMWIN
• To view actual measured values of the SMART sensor:
Click on the “SMART sensors” dialogue box.
“SMART sensor” opens in a new window.
Establish a link with the SMART sensor (see 2.6 Establishing a link with the
SMART sensor).
Click on "Sensor values" on the left of the window.
In the window on the right hand side, a table appears with sensor values.
"Channel"
= designation of measurement channel
"Measured value"
= actual measured value
"Unit of measurement"
= unit of the particular measured value
Plus, if supported by sensor:
"Min"
= lowest measured value
"Max"
= peak measured value
The width of the colums can be altered as required.
To reset the min/max values, click on "Reset Min/Max values" under the viewing
area of the sensor values.
3.3 Retrieving a Measurement Curve
There are three ways of doing this:
You can import a measurement curve from your connected device into CMWIN, open a
saved file, or retrieve a file that is already open.
